Library Policies
Circulating Materials and Overdues
Books circulate for 4 weeks. They may be renewed for an additional 4 weeks. Late books do not incur fines, but we encourage students to bring back their books in a timely manner. Lost or damaged resources will be charged the cost of the item for replacement.
Passes
Students not accompanied by a teacher must have a pass to enter the library. Students with passes are expected to sign in and out at the front desk and show their pass to a library staff member.
Flex
Students must sign-up for Flex through the library's request form by 8:15 am. Students may sign-up for two Flex days in the library per week. Students may not come to the library on a pass for Flex, they must be requested through the Flex tracker system.
Conduct
Students not accompanied by a teacher may be asked to return to class for inappropriate or off-task behavior. It is an expectation that students will keep our library calm, clean, and friendly.

Passwords for databases can be obtained in the library and in a library resources section in most teacher's Schoology classrooms.

Carroll County Public Library
The databases available through the Carroll County Public Library are accessed using the barcode number on the student's Carroll County Public Library card. Library card applications are available at the public library branches and on their website.
