Every year parents are given the opportunity to opt their students in/out of certain information sharing processes and data collection initiatives. Parents are able to give, or not give, permission for the following items:
Permission to Release Information to Military Recruiters(HS students only)
Permission to Release Information to Higher Ed (HS students only)
Permission to Release Transcripts (HS students only)
Consent for Student Participation in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (MS & HS Students only)
Ability to opt out of receiving secure (encrypted) emails.
Permission for Participation in Instructional Tools.
All parents/guardians of students enrolled in the Health Education Curriculum (grades: PreK-8, Health 1 and Health 2) should complete and submit the electronic Parent Permission/Opt-Out Form for the 2025-26 school year.Once the electronic form is submitted, no additional follow-up will occur. Parents of students in grades 3rd through 12th are required to sign a new Student Laptop Agreement (SLA) every school year. This form must also be signed by parents who enroll new students (or re-enroll) mid-year. Parents are given a window of time at the start of the school year to complete the laptop agreement via an online app. If they fail to sign the electronic form before the window closes, or have difficulties completing the online form, they will need to complete a paper form.
